Anat Bainel Method® Neuromovement®
"Your brain - every brain - is a work in progress. It is 'plastic.' From the day we're born to the day we die, it continuously revises and remodels, improving or slowly declining, as a function of how we use it."
Dr Micheal Merzenich
The Anat Baniel Method® (ABM) NeuroMovement® is a holistic, gentle, pain-free movement method that engages the brain’s natural plasticity to bring about remarkable transformations in cognitive, physical and emotional well-being.

Based on the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, this method is focused on positive brain change to rehabilitate, improve and excel. Often described as healing and empowering, ABM Neuromovement® has the potential to shift you or your or your child's trajectory from hopeless to hopeful.

The concept of brain plasticity stems from recognizing that the human brain can “rewire” itself in response to new experiences throughout life.
This wonderful characteristic of our brain is not only responsible for our ability to learn new things and unlearn old habits. It is also the key that unlocks our potential to recover from traumas, strokes, and diseases that disrupt or disable some of the brain’s functions.
The Anat Baniel Method® Neuromovement® uses movement and awareness as the main tools to develop, enhance, or restore one’s functional abilities. However, it stands in stark contrast to conventional physical therapy interventions and other rehabilitation approaches that attempt to bring change directly to specific joints or muscle groups.

What Can Positive Brain Change Do For You?
Through the ABMNM® lesson, the brain is provided with new information, it can bring about dramatic positive changes that defy what we normally believe is possible.
The following are the outcomes of positive brain change that we have seen in our clients:
-
reduction or elimination of aches and pains
-
increased flexibility of movement without stretching, forcing, or injury
-
improved cognitive clarity, flexibility, and creativity
-
recovery from stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI), way beyond what is currently known and considered to be possible
-
better functioning and easing the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS)
-
more powerful learning, which helps children with special needs to overcome many challenges, leading to fuller lives
-
enhanced performance and higher skill levels in athletes, dancers, musicians, CEO’s, and other high performers
-
increased energy, vitality, and resilience
-
enhanced awareness and well-being
With this gentle approach, we focus on your child’s abilities, not her or his limitations. NeuroMovement® and the 9 Essentials utilize brain plasticity science and positive brain change to create new connections in your child’s brain. This often leads to spontaneous, extraordinary breakthroughs in movement, thinking, self-regulation, and connection with others.
